Significant interest in UK online gambling licensing

With the September 16 application deadline looming, it appears that many well-known online gambling operators are opting for a UK licence under the new point-of-consumption licensing law.

A cursory look at the Gambling Commission list of applicants this week revealed that 880 applications (and counting) have been received, among them well known and respected websites, among them:
