Slovenia mulls sports betting bill

Slovenia’s parliamentary finance and monetary policy committee has reportedly voted in favour of a bill that would legalise sports betting.

Sponsored by an MP coalition, the bill still has tough hurdles to clear as it faces stiff opposition from the upper chamber of Parliament and predictably from sports betting monopoly Športna Loterija.
