Sun Bingo publicity with Guinness world record bid

News on 31 May 2017

Sun Bingo’s latest publicity drive will see the company attempt to beat the existing Guiness Book of World Records’ largest set of bingo balls and the largest bingo card.

The attempt will be made on June 3, 2017 at the Blackpool Tower, a tourist attraction in Lancashire, England, which was opened to the public on 14 May 1894 and inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The event will be hosted by Sun Bingo ambassadors Rustie Lee and Chico and attended by up to 400 Sun Bingo players from across the UK, Sun Bingo said.

Players, who stand a chance to win GBP 30,000 in prizes, will play two standard games of 75-ball bingo with 75x 70cm bingo balls and a 4X4 meter bingo card.

“Sun Bingo is known for having the biggest balls in the industry so it makes sense that we set the record straight,” Tom Ustunel, Sun Betting & Gaming Director, said.
