Swedish regulator appoints acting director general

The Swedish Government has appointed Camilla Rosenberg as Acting Director General of the country’s gambling authority, Lotteriinspektionen, following the departure of Håkan Hallstedt who has been appointed to the Judiciary.

Rosenberg has served as head of the operations department at Lotteriinspektionen since September 2015 responsible for the agency’s licensing and regulatory activities.

The appointment takes effect from May 15, 2017.
