Tatts and Tabcorp cancel talks

Australian gambling groups Tatts Group Ltd. and Tabcorp Holdings Ltd. have cancelled takeover talks saying discussions had failed to reach agreement.

Tabcorp said in a statement that the two companies  “were unable to agree mutually acceptable terms and those discussions have ended” followed by similar in a separate statement from Tatts.
