Veikkaus launches Eurojackpot game

News on 15 Mar 2012

Finnish state owned lottery operator Veikkaus is launching the EuroJackpot lottery game with its first draw scheduled for March 23 and a pot up for grabs worth a whopping Euro 10 million.

The EuroJackpot game, whose minimum jackpot for each draw will be Euro 10 million, has been launched due to customer demand, a company spokesperson said.  Only payable on the full complement of numbers, the jackpot will roll-over to the next draw if not hit.

As with all other Veikkaus initiatives, proceeds will be channeled back into projects that benefit the Finnish society.

EuroJackpot tickets are available for purchase at Veikkaus points of sale and through veikkaus.fi.
