William Hill open to pitches on GBP 13 Million gambling media account

The marketing publication Campaign Live reports that online and land gambling UK giant William Hill plc is inviting pitches for its GBP 13 million media planning and buying account, currently held by the 7Stars company, which will not be renewing its offer.

The betting company is talking to agencies ahead of holding meetings, with a view to selecting the new supplier before Christmas, with procurement consultant Tina Fegent, assisting William Hill in the process.

The company spends GBP 5.2 million on TV advertising, GBP 4.6 million on press and GBP 3.3 million online, according to figures from Nielsen.

Earlier this year, William Hill signed up to sponsor the UK coverage of the Italian, Russian and Dutch football premier leagues on the sports broadcaster ESPN, in a deal brokered by 7stars.

William Hill’s creative agency, Beattie McGuinness Bungay, which became the third to work with the bookmaker within a year when it was appointed in January, is unaffected by the media review, according to the Campaign Live report.
