William Hill exits Romania

William Hill has withdrawn from the Romanian market due to regulatory developments in the country.

The company said in a customer communication that it will no longer accept business from Romanian residents for the forseeable future.

Romanian customer accounts have been suspended with immediate effect but allow for the withdrawal of outstanding balances.
