Virtual sports and mobile games provider Inspired has extended its William Hill partnership with the launch of “a true omnichannel” Virtual Sports offering via its Betting Shop TV channel, enabling the synchronous display of its in-shop Virtuals feed to its digital player-base.

William Hill’s Betting Shop TV channel, which is shown in-shop across around 2300 retail locations in the UK, is now being broadcast across online and mobile as an additional feed available to players via WilliamHill.com, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. each evening.

The Virtual Sports being run across the stream are Inspired’s Rush Greyhounds, Rush Horses, Rush Motor Racing and Rush Cycling.

In addition to Virtual Sports, William Hill is also broadcasting US Horse Racing and Racing Post Greyhound TV on the same feed, as well as audio coverage of UK and Irish horseracing, and the Bookmakers Afternoon Greyhound Races.

Mike Jones, Omnichannel Director for William Hill, said: “We are firmly committed to creating an enjoyable and memorable experience our customers love and trust. However, wherever and whenever they choose to bet.

“The development of Betting Shops TV clearly takes us a step further in providing that experience and we are delighted to be working with Inspired on this and a number of other omnichannel opportunities.”

Steve Rogers, SVP Virtual Sports, Inspired, added: “William Hill is renowned for being a trailblazer in the gaming industry, so we are thrilled to be its partner of choice as it moves from multichannel to omnichannel content delivery.

“Here at Inspired, we believe that omnichannel is doing multichannel right – giving players a consistent, premium experience, no matter what channel they want to use at the time.”
