The US sports book division of Brit bookmaker William Hill has opened wagering on Virtual Racing at two of its Nevada race and sports books, boasting that it is the first in Nevada to do so.

Combining quality graphics and the voice of legendary race caller Tom Durkin, William Hill Virtual Racing allows sports bettors to wager on an extensive line-up of simulated horse races, run every five minutes, and allowing sports book patrons to bet Win, Place, Show, Exactas, and Trifectas on line-ups that range from eight to twelve animated virtual horses.

After receiving approval for a field trial from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, William Hill is offering Virtual Racing at the William Hill Race & Sports Books inside the Plaza Hotel and Casino (Las Vegas) and Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas).

The wagering option is extremely popular with sports bettors across the globe, the company claims.

“The addition of Virtual Racing is just another example of how William Hill prides itself on offering the largest and most innovative betting menu,” said Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US. “Being able to have Tom Durkin, horse racing’s best story teller, as our Virtual Racing voice is ‘absolutely sensational’ in itself!.”
