William Hill us settles copyright suit against FanDuel

William Hill US has settled its copyright infringement suit against FanDuel in which the bookmaker alleged the fantasy sports provider had copied its “how to bet” guide practically word for word.

The settlement, made public Monday, will use part of the undisclosed compensation to fund creative writing classes and problem gambling initiatives, CEO Joe Asher said.
