New card processor for Cryptologic

Online gambling software developer and turnkey provider Cryptologic has signed a three year deal with Realex Payments to support its card processing requirements across a growing customer base.
Realex Payments was founded in 2000 by award winning entrepreneur Colm Lyon and has over 3 500 clients across Europe. Clients include The AA, Virgin Atlantic, Vodafone and Aer Lingus, and a number of major gaming companies such as Party Poker.
Realex Payments will meet the online gambling software company’s need to provide increased functionality and additional capacity, a spokesman said. The deal involves Realex Payments providing payment processing for Cryptologic across a variety of currencies, regions and card types, acting as a gateway service to its card acquiring partners.
Kieron Nolan, Director of Treasury at Cryptologic, said: “Although we had a very tight deadline and an extensive wish list of specific requirements, Realex was able to implement the solution quickly and efficiently, meeting our demands in the timeframe required. As a result of the partnership between the two companies, Cryptologic has been able to significantly improve its technical infrastructure which will support future growth plans and demands around security and reliability, a spokesman said.
