Betclic Turf launched

Online gambling operator Betclic Everest Group launched Betclic Turf into the French market, this week.
Betclic Turf is the company’s new online horse race betting offering which has launched on a new technological platform provided by Groupe Carrus.
José Covès, a well-known horse racing journalist, has been engaged as Betclic Turf’s celebrity spokesman and ambassador and will contribute to the website’s content.
The company will embark on an online and offline media campaign (including radio, TV and the equestrian press fraternity) to create high visibility of the new product in the French market as quickly as possible.
Nicolas Beraud, President of BetClic Everest Group, said “Now, with this attractive and innovative offering we aim to become the leading private operator in the French market in the horse race betting segment.”
The product accessible via betclic.fr/turf/ is offering a welcome bonus of 200 percent maxed at Euro 50.
In related news: ARJEL, the French online gaming regulatory body, appears to be at war with itself.
In an action against Betclic for allegedly breaching French regulations, ARJEL plans to appeal a decision made by its own independent Sanctions Committee.  The committee ruled that no action be taken against Betclic.  Betclic has steadfastly maintained that the allegation was unfounded.
