Betfair appoints new CTO

Betfair Plc has named Paul Cutter as its new chief technology officer, succeeding Tony McAlister.

Cutter, the former Director of Software Engineering at BSkyB, joined the firm this month and is tasked with leading Betfair’s integration and technical alignment projects as well as involvement in new product innovations.

He is credited with transforming Sky’s digital presence with the development and launch of various web, mobile and IPTV products.
