Betfair clinches naming rights Aussie Wentworth Park Gold Cup

Online betting exchange, Betfair has secured naming rights to the Group 2 Wentworth Park Gold Cup in a deal with the New South Wales Greyhound Breeders, Owners and Trainers Association (NSW GBOTA) this week revealed Australian Racing Greyhound.com.
This is the second sponsorship deal in a week between the NSW GBOTA and a wagering entity with Centrebet signing a three year partnership with the Association which will see signage, race naming and promotions undertaken at Wentworth Park, Bathurst, Bulli, Gosford, Lismore, Maitland, Appin Way, Gunnedah, and Temora.
The Betfair – NSW GBOTA partnership will get underway this week with the unveiling of feature signage and presentation to the winner of the Betfair.com Stakes.
Association Chairman, Geoff Rose said: “Betfair are a progressive wagering entity and we have great delight in welcoming them on board as the Group 2 Gold Cup sponsor.”
Hugh Taggart, Media and Communication Manager, Betfair commented: “The sponsorship agreement will only serve to increase the exposure of the outstanding greyhound product already on display in NSW”.
