Directorate change at Playtech

Playtech plc announced Tuesday that Paul Hewitt has given notice of his intention to step down from his role as Non-Executive Director from 1 August 2018, following three years with the company, and will be joining Provident Financial plc as a Non-Executive Director from 31 July 2018.

Hewitt will stand down as chair of the Playtech board’s Risk & Compliance Committee on the same date. Independent Non-Executive Director Claire Milne will become chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee following his departure.

Alan Jackson, Playtech plc’s chairman, said in a company statement:

“I would like to thank Paul on behalf of the board and the company. Over the last three years his contribution has been of huge value to the company during a period of strategic progress and diversification and we wish him every success in his future roles.”
