Has Entrobet done a runner?

News on 7 Dec 2017

Players are currently expressing concern that Morten Viken’s latest Scandinavian-facing enterprise, the Curacao-licensed online casino and sportsbook Entrobet.com, has gone dark with no communication regarding their account balances, the reason for its shutdown or its future.

Certainly the website is down, and the Twitter feed for the business was last updated in August…all just nine months after Viken launched the site, his second online gambling business, in March this year.

His first – an online sportsbook branded 70bet – shut down in similar circumstances in 2015, taking with it mainly Norwegian player funds. On that occasion Viken claimed to be manager rather than owner of the business, an assertion that was strongly refuted.

Entrobet players were offered deposit bonuses significantly larger than the norm, a potential red flag for experienced online punters burned in encounters with ‘hit and run’ operators.

EntroBet is registered as part of the S.M.N Group N.V in Curacao, and was founded in 2016. In June this year EntroBet m.d. Christer Frestad announced that it had joined the NetRefer affiliate management program.

Requests for comment on the apparent EntroBet shuttering have thus far gone unanswered.
