Evoplay unveils €1,000,000 Winter campaign designed to drive sustained player engagement

Evoplay, the award-winning game development studio, has unveiled the Winter edition of its Season of Legends campaign, bringing together a €1 million prize pool and a multi-layered promotional package designed to help casino operators engage players throughout the festive season and beyond.

Running from December 2026 to February 2027, the campaign brings Christmas, New Year and Valentine’s Day together within one coordinated engagement strategy. Evoplay is encouraging partners to integrate early and make the most of the full promotional calendar throughout the season.

Moving beyond a traditional seasonal promotion, Season of Legends combines a Tournament and Wheel of Fortune with Infinity Prize Drops, New Year Prize Drops and the new Lucky Scratch Cards mechanic. Each feature offers a different way for players to participate, creating a broader entertainment proposition within one ready-to-use package.

Infinity Prize Drops will run for 28 consecutive days each month, independently of the Tournament and Wheel of Fortune phases. By keeping rewards available between scheduled promotional activations, the feature helps maintain opportunities for engagement throughout the campaign.

Alongside this, New Year Prize Drops will run daily from 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, extending the festive experience beyond New Year’s Eve and into the new year.

The Winter edition also introduces Lucky Scratch Cards, a new interactive mechanic designed to reignite player interest during quieter periods. Offering additional opportunities to win, the feature helps operators maintain engagement throughout the campaign. It can be activated through a Balance Increase connection, with no additional setup required.

For operators, the combination of competitive, recurring and interactive mechanics offers a ready-to-use promotional package that brings multiple engagement opportunities into one coordinated calendar.

Rather than relying on a single tournament or short-term festive activation, partners can diversify their seasonal offering and create different reasons for players to return.

Diana Larina, CMO at Evoplay, said: “The thinking behind Season of Legends is that meaningful engagement comes from giving players reasons to return over time, rather than relying on isolated promotional peaks. We’ve built the Winter campaign on the basis that seasonal content should give operators a consistent way to connect with their audiences across different stages of the player journey.

“The Winter months bring several major occasions together, making it an opportunity for operators to build momentum across the season. By bringing the campaign’s mechanics, creative and calendar together in one package, we are making it easier for our partners to deliver a joined-up experience and get involved from the very beginning.”
