Fantasy sports firm in sponsorship deal with top UK football club

ASAP Italia’s fantasy sports subsidiary Sportito has announced a new football sponsorship deal, partnering with the English football club, Queens Park Rangers as the club’s “Official Fantasy Sports Partner” for 2017/18 season.
The agreement is QPR’s first with a fantasy sports partner.
QPR is one of the oldest English football clubs in London with a long history and a strong heritage. This weekend, Rangers are celebrating their 100th anniversary at the Loftus Road stadium.
The club can boast over a million fans on its social platforms, and Sportito will have access through digital channels to engage with them and establish a brand presence.
Riccardo Mittiga, CEO of Sportito, said in a statement Tuesday that the QPR agreement holds commercial advantages for both companies, whilst QPR director Euan Inglis observed:
“The growth in fantasy sports over the last few years has been substantial, especially fantasy football. The opportunity to win daily prizes on Sportito’s platform makes their proposition very exciting…they are a fantasy sports company with big plans over the next few years”
