Fortuna Entertainment in euro 47 million deal with its majority stakeholder

Fortbet Holdings, a subsidiary of the Penta Investment Group and a major stakeholder in Czech online and land gambling group Fortuna Entertainment, has announced that it is to sell its Romainan betting and gambling companies to Fortuna for a consideration of Euro 47 million.

The transaction should be completed in the second quarter of 2017 and follows a Fortuna initiative to take over the Hattrick Sports Group (see previous  reports).

Fortuna’s board has approved the refinancing of existing loans in the amount of roughly EUR 160 million.
