GVC and Danske Licens Spil agree multi year extension

News on 18 Dec 2018

GVC Holdings has secured a multi-year extension to its existing B2B supply contract with Danske Licens Spil (DLS).

GVC, and previously bwin.party, the business acquired by the Group in 2016, have supplied online gaming and poker content to DLS since January 2012, when the Danish market first regulated.

The new agreement marks the second time that the contract has been renewed, having previously been extended in 2015.

Through its agreement with GVC, DLS continues access to the Group’s portfolio of gaming content, which includes titles from leading third-party suppliers as well as exclusive games developed by the GVC’s in-house development studios.

GVC Holdings, Head of Client Services, Ian Turnbull:

“Having supplied poker and casino games to DLS since 2012 we are thrilled to extend our relationship once again.  Danske Licens Spil is the clear market leader in Denmark and we are delighted to be their long-term partner of choice.”

Søren Schneider, Director of Product Management, Danske Licens Spil:

“Danske Licens Spil has been a strong market leader in the liberalised Danish market since 2012. One of the reasons for our continual growth is our strong relationship with the GVC Group. With access to their casino and poker platforms combined with our joint exclusive content development it was a logical decision to extend our relationship for three more years.”
