Hendon Mob data can now be amended

News on 7 Sep 2018

A spokesman for the popular Hendon Mob poker database, which publishes individual player results gleaned from publicly available information, has confirmed that the company will comply with the recently introduced EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

This means that European players can request that information pertaining to them be deleted or amended. Companies who fail to meet such requests can be fined up to Euro 20 million or four percent of global annual revenue.

Founded in 2000 by Hendon Mob players Joe Beevers, Ram Vaswani, and brothers Ross and Barney Boatman, the Hendon Mob Database was acquired by Global Poker Index (GPI) in July 2013. The website profiles around 560,000 players, has information on 368,732 events, and more than 2.5 million tournament results.
