Interactive games development for Canadian province

News on 23 Jun 2014

Is the Canadian province of New Brunswick working toward its own interactive gambling system? Recent moves in the province, including the award of a $5 million research grant to a partnership of four Canadian entities, would suggest so.

The entities are a Canadian GTech company, tech company T4G, the New Brunswick Community College and First Mobile Entertainment, all of which will be involved in the development of a  new “multi-channel content application platform.”

The initial project involves the establishment of an interactive gaming development team in Monckton, New Brunswick, which will work with the goal of developing a system through which new games can be simultaneously launched across several channels, including mobile and internet.
