Cost of Italian gambling domains rising

Italian online casino domains have increased significantly in value following the expanded regulation of the Italian market in July to include online casino action.
Anticipating market regulation, I-Promotions Limited recently acquired the Blackjack.it domain for Euro 65,000, and domains like OnlineCasino.it are currently up for sale at a low six figure price.
OnlinePoker.it is also available to offerers willing to pay “in Euros ranging in the mid 5 figures”.
Trust Partners, a consultancy firm, has estimated online casino revenues in Italy at Euro 200 million in 2011, rising to Euro 800 million to Euro 1 billion in 2012.
