LeoVegas strengthens management team

News on 15 Oct 2018

The LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group has bolstered its managerial team with the appointment of  Irene Busic as Communications Director, and Petra Blixt and Claes af Burén as Malta-based marketing directors.

Busic will have overarching responsibility for public relations as well as Group press and internal communications. She served most recently as Head of Global PR and Communications at Hyper Island, prior to which she spent more than four years in China, where she served as Head of Communications for Stora Enso and as Managing Director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, following Louise Nylén’s recent appointment as Deputy CEO of LeoVegas and the subsequent termination of the chief marketing officer role, marketing responsibility has been split between Petra Blixt and Claes af Burén.

Blixt, previously head of acquisitions at LeoVegas, will continue with LeoVegas’ online marketing responsibilities, while af Burén will oversee marketing of the LeoVegas brand.

“I have a very positive view of our work on strengthening our marketing department and leadership with these two great people,” Nylén said. “With this change we have more clearly defined the responsibilities in marketing and have added brand-building expertise, which gives us even better opportunities for sustainable growth.”
