More aussie advertising restrictions on the way

Not content with severe restrictions that ban gambling advertisements during live sports broadcasts between 5am and 8:30pm (see previous reports), the Australian regulator Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is now mulling further limitations that extend to internet streaming.

Announcing a public consultation period Thursday, ACMA invited interested parties to submit views on the streaming restriction proposal by May 10.
