Nagaland issues its first multi-game online gambling licence

Sachar Gaming, an online gambling operator which runs the KhelPlay Rummy.com website, has been awarded the first multi-game online gambling licence issued by the Indian provincial regulatory jurisdiction Nagaland.

The licence enables KhelPlay Rummy.com to additionally offer games like poker, rummy, quizzes, auctions, binary options, virtual team selection games and virtual sport fantasy league games.

Although the Sachar licence is the first Nagaland multi-game permit, it is the sixth licence to be issued by the jurisdiction (see previous reports), which has hitherto focused mainly on poker.

Sachar operations chief P.K. Jain said in a statement:

“We are pleased to have received the license for online skill games from the Nagaland government. The license will bring greater credibility to our brand and ensure that our players feel safe and secure while playing on our website.”
