OLG begins RFP phase of lottery procurement

A private sector provider is being sought by Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) to run “specific day-to-day operations of the lottery business in Ontario” (see previous reports).

A request for proposals was initiated today for the final phase of OLG’s procurement process for pre-qualified service providers who are bidding for the $2 Billion in annual turnover business.

OLG refused to reveal further details of the RFP documents and/or names of pre-qualified proponents while the process is ongoing.

Further information will be furnished once the winning bid has been announced in 2015.
