Online casino gets an early start in Sweden

Online casino operator ComeOn, a Cherry Group subsidiary, has made an early move to position itself in the soon-to-be-liberalised Swedish market, announcing Thursday that it has launched a new “Gästspel” (guest play) option on ComeOn.com site in Sweden.

Swedish online punters can now choose if they want to become a member or if they want to play as a guest. As a member, customers are offered a full package including a welcome offer; as a guest, players can begin playing without a time-consuming registration process.

Tomas Johansson, interim CEO of ComeOn, said in a statement Thursday: “We see that different types of customers want different things. Some prefer the membership option where they get a great customised experience, while others value speed and ease of use.”

Guest play is enabled on ComeOn.com’s mobile site and app, via a secure and easy-to-use pay and play service. The full Know Your Customer (KYC) solution on every deposit allows customers to play instantaneously without having to go through a time-consuming registration process. The withdrawal process is also one of the fastest on the market, the company claims.
