Software provider Openbet has made two senior appointments forming part of its growth strategy.

Former Betway chief technology officer Todd Martin was appointed chief operating officer and former Nektan product director Dominic Le Garsmeurwas named casino vice president.

The appointments are in line with Openbet’s growth strategy as it looks to recruit across the company to drive and manage expansion from new business.

Martin’s career in the gaming industry began in 2006 when he joined PartyGaming to lead software development in poker, casino, sports, bingo and the e-Gaming platforms.  He was subsequently appointed as chief technology officer in 2013.

Prior to this appointment, Le Garsmeur joined mobile developer Nektan in February 2014 after spending eight years in a variety of product roles at PartyGaming, later bwin.party.

“Both Todd and Dominic are highly experienced – I am proud to welcome them to the team. They will bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to OpenBet that will be of huge benefit to our company and our clients, while allowing us to continue to improve our product offering and service levels,” commented Jeremy Thompson-Hill, chief executive officer for Openbet.
