Player dispute progress at the UK Gambling Commission

News on 27 Jan 2016

The UK Gambling Commission has announced that its European Online Dispute Resolution platform webpage, which is due for implementation on 15 February this year, is now available in draft form.

The site will allow consumers, traders and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) providers to file, respond to, and handle disputes (including disputes where the trader and consumer are in different countries within the EU) online.

The provisional site is here: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

“Although the link will not give access to traders and consumers yet, it provides an opportunity to prepare websites and marketing communications in advance of the go live date on 15 February,” an advisory from the Commission notes.
