Playscan AB, a subsidiary of Swedish Government-owned gaming operator Svenska Spel said its Playscan responsible gambling product will be integrated by FuSheng Interactive in Hong Kong along with Northberry AB in Sweden.

Playscan was developed from a partnership between Playscan AB and Spelinstitutet in 2006 and launched at svenskaspel.se in 2007 and Française des Jeux (FDJ) in 2010. It is a solution that provides an informed choice for the player to assess their own gambling behaviour but also provides operators with information on how to proactively prevent problem gambling.

“With changes in the gaming regulation this year, the Chinese government is now taking a stronger stance on the prevention of problematic gambling. Therefore, Playscan is honoured to be identified as the world’s leader in preventative responsible gambling solutions within this market,” said Andreas Holmstrom, CEO of Playscan.

“We are delighted to work with Playscan in China, which is the second largest lottery market in the world. We believe Playscan has great potential in China and FuSheng Interactive will give full support on the development,” added Anders Holmgren, Chairman of FuSheng Interactive.
