Rank Group on the hunt for new chief executive

Rank Group PLC chief executive Henry Birch has tendered his resignation with a 12-month notice period after four years with the firm.

The company has begun the search for Birch’s successor as he plans on taking up the position of group chief executive of UK multi-brand online retailer, Shop Direct.

“The Board would like to thank Henry for his significant contribution to Rank over the past four years and will continue to work closely with him and the executive management team during this leadership transition,” a company press statement reads.
