Scientific Games Corporation has produced a behind the scenes video to give an insight into SG Digital’s busiest trading event of the year, the day of the prestigious Grand National horse race
Over the three days of the 2018 Aintree Festival, SG Digital’s OpenBet platform processed more than 34 million bets. The Grand National is one of the biggest occasions in the UK sporting calendar and is the betting peak every year, peaking for a single operator above 20,000 bets per minute.
The video gives a glimpse into the preparation and delivery of a betting operation on the biggest day of the year and shows key members of the OpenBet team discussing the challenges faced both before and during the day.
