S Iswaran, the Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry said the Singapore Government has embarked on a review of the country’s regulatory framework on all forms of gambling, including online.

The review was announced in response to concerns voiced by members of parliament regarding amendments to the Casino Control Act brought before Parliament this week, reports NewsAsia.

Developments in other countries would be carefully studied before drawing up a framework confirmed Iswaran.

On the terrestrial casino side, a key amendment will be the introduction of a visit limit to the two Integrated Resorts casinos in Singapore.
