The UK online gambling group Sky Betting and Gaming has announced that it has increased its commitment to its Commercial Academy project by investing a further GBP 1 million in this development project for graduates (see previous reports).

The project aims to recruit graduates for the company and offers range of intern opportunities across the company’s technical, fraud and risk, commercial, marketing, finance and personnel divisions.

The Commercial Academy offers a range of opportunities starting in September across various professional disciplines and in some cases will also allow for further post-graduate professional study. The permanent roles offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package.

This latest investment takes SB&G’s total support for the development of early career initiatives to GBP 2.5 million and the total number of graduate opportunities at the company to around 50.

The Commercial Academy is designed to offer university leavers and recent graduates commercial exposure and experience in the UK’s fourth largest online gambling company.

Rob Painter, Sky Betting & Gaming’s Brand and HR Director, said:

“It is great news that our Commercial Academy is now open for applications. This intensive programme will help develop the attributes needed to thrive in a fast paced and growing technology business.”
