Online gambling portal makes annual awards

News on 21 Jan 2010

The online gambling information portal Casinomeister’s owner, Bryan Bailey, has announced his site’s awards for 2009.
32Red Casino was named Casino of the Decade, with the citation: “They have maintained their focus since their (2002) launch: personable customer service, responsive and effective management, professional solid operations. Publicly traded, fully transparent, and they are bound by an ideology that is based on player satisfaction…”
Club World Casinos took double honours this year: “Best Casino of 2009” and “Best Casino Group”. Describing the UK-based operation as “…by far some of the most responsive casinos online,” Bailey said the group was managed by a “clued-in crew” that ensured that customer service and operations were consistently on top of their game.
Wager Works received the “Best Casino Software Supplier” accolade for the year. “They’ve brought on board a solid stream of IGT‘s new games this year: Dungeons and Dragons, Rainbow Riches, and Transformers – all familiar to the land based players. The software is backed by publicly traded and US based International Gaming Technology,” Bailey remarked.
On the negative side, Top Gaming software received the award for the “Worst Blundering Screwup of 2009”: Referring to a software glitch that was only noticed by players, Bailey commented:  “How in the heck can a software provider upload a progressive slot that requires five wilds to win the progressive, when two of the wilds are missing?”
Other awards include Best Customer Service, Worst Casino, Worst Player Experience, Biggest Disappointment of 2009, Head in the Sand Award, Stupid Casino Tricks, Evil Player Award, and others, all accessed at http://www.casinomeister.com/bestworst2009.php
