Aristocrat leisure delivers in H1 report

Australian gaming and social casino provider Aristocrat has reported a strong half year performance over the six month period ending March 31st delivering a record high in revenue which increased 34 percent to reach AUD$1.64 billion.

Other key performance indicators over the H1 period include EBITDA of AUD$643 million – up 28.9 percent, and normalised profit after tax of AUD$361.5 million – growth of 32.5 percent.

Results were driven by strong growth in the Group’s Americas and Digital business boosted by the recent acquisitions of Plarium and Big Fish, Aristocrat said.

“The strong 32% profit improvement over the six months to 31 March 2018 demonstrates the soundness of our strategy whilst highlighting our broadening ambition, as we make substantial progress in expanding our addressable market across both digital and land-based segments,” Aristocrat Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Trevor Croker, said.
