Betway enters South African market

Sports betting and online casino operator Betway Group has launched in South Africa under license issued by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) to Raging River Trading (Pty) Ltd.

The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board has licensed 211 betting operators to date, both land and online-based.

Betway will offer online sports betting across the mobile and web platforms. Online casino is currently illegal under South African Law, Our readers will recall online casino punters recently had R1.5 million in winnings confiscated by the South African courts.
