Bluemay’s appeal against Kansspelautoriteit penalty rejected by court

Bluemay Enterprises B.V. appeal against a gambling penalty levied by the Dutch gambling authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), was rejected by the Netherlands Council of State this week.

Our readers will recall the KSA imposed a hefty fine on Bluemay Enterprises B.V. for operating illegally and without license in the Dutch market through online operations that included 7Red.com and RedSlots.com.

The KSA maintains BlueMay Enterprises ignored Dutch legislation for a second time having been fined Euro 13,000 in October 2014 for similar infringements. Its continued operation in the market saw the authority levy a hefty Euro 180,000.00 saying at the time that the penalty reflects the repeated offence.
