Comedy in new Betvictor TV push

BetVictor’s latest promotional push includes a series of three TV ads with the first promoting its football odds in the lead-up to the Barclays Premier League season.

Comedian Paul Kaye plays the role of Maurice, an excitable bettor who skydives down onto a high-speed train in the hopes of getting the inside scoop from Betvictor chairman, Victor Chandler.

The second ad in the series will focus on BetVictor’s in-play odds for Premier League football matches while the third will promote the online operator’s casino games, revealed Campaign LiveUK.

“There was a lot of laughing on the film set and we hope this humour cuts through when the adverts are launched to the mainstream audience,” said Karl Riley, marketing director at BetVictor.  “We have the opportunity to promote live odds for the first time with this new round of TV ads and so the aim was to produce something funny and memorable that will get across the main message of best prices and value to our target audience.”
