Highlander lands from Microgaming

Microgaming’s latest branded slot, ‘Highlander’, launched today (Wednesday).

This much anticipated 5×3 reel, 243-ways-to-win slot is based on the original 1986 movie which became a cult classic starring Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod.

The game accurately depicts scenes from the movie including iconic locations set in the Scottish Highlands.

Features include a free spins mode and two powerful wild features which trigger the stoke of a sword turning the prerequisite two landed scatters wild.

Three scatters landing on the reels awards 10 free spins, during which the storm intensifies with Quickening Wilds™. On each spin, a flash of lightning can randomly strike, electrifying the reels and turning symbols wild. With each strike, an increasing number of wilds will land.
