Intralot Interactive, a division of the Greek gaming software developer Intralot, has secured valuable access and contacts in the Lithuanian internet gambling sector following a deal with the Baltic country’s lottery operator Olifeja.
The agreement between the companies, binding for three years, will see Intralot Interactive providing the Lithuanian firm with a next-generation Internet gambling platform.
Olifeja has the option of a two year extension on the agreement if it wishes to renew services that include a player management system alongside an application integration framework and a complete suite of games such as bingo, keno and fun-poker as well as more than 40 scratch and instant titles.
“We are really pleased with our agreement with Olifeja,” said George Zenzefilis, general director for Intralot Interactive. “We are confident that we will have a win-win collaboration providing our state-of-the-art technology, our expertise and our dedicated team that will support Olifeja in its efforts to expand further its business in the highly lucrative interactive gaming market.”
Olifeja has a 95 percent share of the Lithuanian lottery market through its network of 1,800 non-dedicated points-of-sale. The company also operates televised bingo and keno alongside lotto and instant titles as well as online bingo and side games.
“It is Intralot’s global experience, expertise and pioneering technology that led us to our decision to select it as our new partner,” said Antanas Muraska, managing director of the lottery company.
“We are sure that, together with Intralot Interactive, we will offer exciting interactive games and we will soon become leader of the interactive gaming market in Lithuania.”
