ManBetX named Crystal Palace FC main sponsor

News on 27 Jun 2017

Premier League football club Crystal Palace (CPFC) has entered into a club-record, multi-year deal with online sports betting and casino operator ManBetX as its new shirt sponsor.

ManBetX’s logo will feature across the club’s shirt and the operator will be promoted as Main Sponsor across all CPFC media channels online and offline, in the UK and internationally.

“We are delighted to welcome ManBetX as the club’s official shirt sponsor,” CPFC Chairman, Steve Parish said. “The continued growth of our international fanbase and the attraction of Premier League makes the club an attractive partner for ManBetX, and our growing reach around the world gives ManBetX an ideal platform to continue its own brand growth.”

According to a CPFC press statement: “The partnership is believed to be the 8th biggest club deal by value in the Premier League, indicating the growing global appeal of Crystal Palace FC.”

As a relative newcomer, a deal this size is a big statement. We could find limited information on ManBetX except that it is apparently situated in the Philippines, its corporate website manbetx.ltd is “currently in progress” and its Twitter account describes the company as a “digital sports news, evolution of media, and entertainment platform”.

Further research revealed the manbetx.uk domain was registered in March 2017. The registrant is listed as Pearly Pace Limited who also applied to the UK Intellectual Property Office for trademark rights on ManBetX in April 2017.

The .uk domain appears to be a BetConstruct white-label, powered and managed by Vivaro Limited (Vbet.co.uk), and licensed under the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (Remote Operating License Number: 000-044662-R-324273-001).
