Camilla Rosenberg has been named head of the Swedish Gambling Authority by the country’s government. She was formerly the director-general of the regulator and will serve at least six years in the top position.

Rosenberg joined the Swedish Gambling Authority in September 2015 as head of the operations department, bringing with her years of managerial experience at the Swedish Energy Agency, where she was chief legal officer.

Sweden’s minister for Public Administration, Ardalan Shekarabi, said Wednesday:

“We are currently in an important phase for Swedish gambling policy, and I am delighted to be in a position to recruit an experienced and popular Director-General with good experience of the gambling market.”
