Online casino to sponsor free-to-air TV channel

Online casino operator Mr Green has become the first sponsor of the free-to-air UK television channel Front Runner, which carries poker content along with coverage of extreme and other sports.

Only four months old, the channel is expecting more sponsors to come on board, attracted by its viewership in 19 million households via Sky ch468, Talk Talk/BT ch91, Freeview ch91 and FreeSat ch250.

The poker content includes World Poker Tour and Poker Night in America material, which has given the channel’s popularity a noticeable boost.
