Second iGaming consultation launched by Hellenic Gaming Commission

A new consultation titled “Regulation for the Organisation of and Conduct of Gambling via the Internet” and Technical Specifications (TEI) has been published by the Hellenic Gaming Commission on the opengov.gr website.

The Hellenic Gaming Commission is inviting input from all industry stakeholders and the public for the purpose of guiding it in providing clarification and further building on the existing draft proposal.

Topics covered in the consultation, among others, include :

(a) the award procedure and the types of licenses,

(b) the conditions to be fulfilled by the applicant license holders and the compliance requirements of the license holders in their operation,

(c) the technical specifications of gambling systems and technical standards,

(d) determining the general categories of events that may be offered for betting.
