Sky Bet launches new ad campaign

British Sky Broadcasting Group plc’s (BSkyB) betting arm, Sky Bet, has launched an extensive fully integrated advertising campaign intended to raise awareness of Sky Bet and its association with Sky Sports.
Introducing the strapline “Nothing’s certain. That’s why it’s exciting”, the campaign was developed by London-based creative agency WCRS.
The ads explore the thoughts of a football bettor contemplating different scenario’s that could impact the outcome of his wager and include a mix of brand and direct response ads that will run across sporting programmes and channels including Sky Sports and ESPN.
The campaign includes television, online, press, talkSport sponsorship, pub advertising and social media.
Ted Moss, marketing director, Sky Betting and Gaming, said:  “It’s the uncertainty of sport that makes betting so exciting and WCRS have captured this brilliantly in the new campaign to set us apart from our competitors.”
Leon Jaume, executive creative director, WCRS said:  “If I were a betting man – which I am – I’d fancy the new Sky Bet ad to make the competition look a bit one-paced.”
