Spanish LFP and Betfair in partnership

The Spanish football league Liga de fÚtbol profesional española (LFP) and Betfair have renewed their cooperation agreement in an effort to maintain the integrity of the game in combating match fixing and other fraudulent activities.

Betfair has agreed to provide the LFP with gambling activity information and the identification of individuals when there are compelling grounds to do so to assist the LFP in investigating suspicious betting behaviour related to La Liga and League Two matches.

This confidential information may be used in investigations, disciplinary proceedings, as well as law enforcement or judicial proceedings.
