Sportech Americas COO steps down

News on 22 Jul 2013

Sportech, Inc. America’s COO David Schreff (57) will leave the company, stepping down after only nine months in the position.

Schreff is reportedly leaving the company to focus on his own private business Bedare Sports and Entertainment, a Digital Media Rights Management, Sponsorship and Licencing firm, which he founded in 2002 but said he will remain connected to the company in an advisory capacity.

“Everything at Sportech was good. I’ve been thrilled to be part of Sportech and there are high expectations for that company,” Schreff told the NH Register.  “They are well-positioned for some great things in the future. It was nice getting back to my roots since I was born at Yale-New Haven Hospital, grew up in Hamden and went to high school at Amity.

“But the timing was right for me to move on. Now I’m returning to my business roots in sports and entertainment. I feel it’s important to get back and devote more time to my company and be more hands on with its sports marketing and media advertising operation.”
